Red Ivy Pet Sanctuary is a permanent home for many of our rescues. Dogs that are at risk of broken adoption find love, understanding, kindness and peace within our sanctuary. Many issues can put a dog at risk such as issues related to behaviour, health and primarily old age. Dogs with issues like this can spend months and years in kennel style shelters awaiting adoption, some are returned to the shelter time and time again because of health/behavioral issues they have developed through years of abuse and or neglect. For these special dogs we have created Red Ivy Pet Sanctuary.Â

We have many wonderful pets in need of loving forever families at Red Ivy. These dogs will go on to be loved and cherished family members through our re-homing program. Perhaps the most fulfilling part of what we do is seeing these dogs who were once so broken become so happy and loved within their new families. Dogs are most resilient creatures still full of love after so much suffering at the hands of people. We can all learn from them when it comes to how to treat one another.

JACK
German Shepherd 2 YRS
Jack was rescued from a home where he was locked in a very small cage for most of his life. Jack is enjoying his freedom, room to run and his new friends !
Jack is very sweet and affectionate with all animals and people. However he does not have much training and will require home that has experience with big dogs. Jack has been neutered and is up to date with the vet.
MARLEY
4 year old Shepherd X Walker Hound
Marley is looking for his forever home, preferably in the country. Marley is not good with strangers, however, he is the most lovable and loyal dog once properly introduced. For this reason we are seeking a special home for Marley, with someone who has experience with dogs like Marley. A single man or woman would be ideal. Marley would make the best guardian.
OZZY
6 year old Shi-tzu X Terrier
Ozzy is a sweet little man. He enjoys cuddles and long walks. Ozzy is perfect in the house, loves all people especially youngsters. Ozzy is neutered and up to date with the vet. If you think Ozzy is the guy for you please fill out an application today!
HUEY

Huey is the cutest little thing! His tiny little heart is just bursting with love! Huey just loves people and kiddies. Can be a little protective of himself with other dogs but adjusts nicely in time. If you think Huey would be happy in your home please let us know.
